LNF Supports Safe Water Access with RO Plant in Wariyapola
The LNF-funded Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant in Bayawa, Wariyapola, installed by the Sri Lanka Navy, provides 10,000 litres of clean drinking water each day. This initiative improves access to safe water for the local community, addressing challenges related to poor water quality. By reducing reliance on unsafe sources, the plant helps prevent waterborne diseases and supports better health and hygiene. This project reflects a practical and sustainable approach to meeting essential community needs while enhancing the overall quality of life in the area.
